·I Have the Cutest Baby in the World·
- I'm sorry, but she really is just too cute!!
So we are in the middle of our move now. The movers came and got everything from our house on Saturday, and Andrew drove up with Lucky. I've been staying with my parents for the week. Andrew and his mom have already pretty much unpacked everything, and I finally fly up this Saturday. We won't have internet until the second week of July. After that point, I will definitely be updating more. In the meantime, I hope these pictures tide you over!

·I'm Fat. Get Over It.·
- No, I haven't fallen off the face of the planet. I'm in true crunch time right now. We are moving in just a few days now. We're packing, we're cleaning, we're making arrangements, I'm finishing off outstanding orders and working out new terms with my retail clients, and, oh yeah, taking care of a newborn!
Anna is doing wonderfully. She had her six week checkup. While she is still smaller than many babies are when they are born (She is just now barely over 8 lbs), her cognitive development is off the charts. The doctor was amazed at her level of attention. Anna put on a terrific show for her, smiling, laughing, and cooing. She said it's remarkable and she's acting more like a 2-3 month old. So what Anna lacks for in size, she made up for in other ways. We've got a little baby genius!
I was always pretty sure I had the world's cutest baby, but lately, I've been getting a lot of people eager to confirm it. I went out yesterday with her, and all sorts of people showered her with compliments on what a beautiful baby she was. I was feeling mighty proud of my amazing little angel when yet another random stranger approached me to let me know just how cute this baby was. Then, she puts her hand on her belly and says, "So are you getting in good practice for when yours gets here?"
Uhh....WHAT?? She thought this was someone else's baby and I was still pregnant!! I was too embarrassed to correct the bitch, so I just gave her a vague "Uh huh," and walked away.
I gained 13 inches around my waist in the past year. Joy.
So now I know to open my ears when everyone tells me how perfect my baby is, but close them when people tell me I look great. :(

Anna is adorable you will have to post pictures when you get a chance. Good luck with the move!
Post a CommentI had this happen to me also. It does get better.....at least you know that it's okay to be bigger then you were cuz now you have a wonderful baby to show off!!!
